Missismiller in Berlin

The types of ice cream taste different every day: sometimes good, sometimes bad, depending on who makes the ice in the basement. There are ice cream spoons made of different materials, cost: 10-30 cents. For infants, ice cream in a mug with a spoon is easier to eat. Why the rethinking of the little ones should make sense, where they are just starting to learn everything, is simply not clear to me. Even in times of Corona, it makes no sense to charge 20 cents on every form of packaging if everything is sold to-go.

I do not know. The idea is quite nice to have a shop next to the playgrounds but then the ice cream should also taste good. I think there are too many additives and the ice cream is also not made by myself :( 2/5 ⭐

(Removed Original Review) Update: At the time I wrote this review, my wife, children and I lived near the canal and had been here before several times without incident. It’s always clean, well kept and in very close proximity to a few playgrounds. It should also be noted that I was both scared and angry while writing it and I should have taken a more informative rather than accusative approach. The standards here are definitely high and there’s nothing about what happened with us, that could have happened to 99.9% of the rest of the population. The problem is, that when this (of any other) shop gets busy, occasionally the scoops come into contact with water from the basin and aren’t held under a stream of fresh water long enough. This technically isn’t unhygienic or problematic for most people, but for those with sever nut allergies it can be an issue. Again, I want to stress that we had been there many times without a problem. Perhaps we just hit the unfortunate jackpot that day. And thankfully, nothing reached a level that was life threatening. But our story should serve as a reminder that even when it gets really busy, the scoop should always be held directly under the running water and never allowed to be swirled in, or even touch the basin (no matter how clean it appears). My review was NOT fake, but it was angry!

Good ice cream at a good price. Many flavours to choose from. Nice to sit outside with a cute parasol and a small park across the street. Usually closes at 18 but I was there at 21 and it was luckily still open.

A dream! I'm actually not an ice cream lover but at Missismiller it is creamy and so intense in taste that in summer you like to stand in line. Top quality and unusual varieties. My favorites: dark chocolate with chilli and mango.
